soooooo,

we really are getting together later this month. There are at least a half-dozen new songs floating around our minds that need to be wrangled in, and we are playing some shows to try them out. The first one is in Madison at Cafe Momo on Friday May 25th, with I believe the Drastics (mittens + dub, awesome). Next is another nearly acoustic party at our place on Saturday the 26th (we’re waiting to hear back about who is going to play, but count Osmowhitely in). And finally we will tear down Schuba’s with Frog Eyes and the Yeasayer on Sunday the 27th - don’t worry, you’ll have Memorial Day off, so yous guys can come out.

The new EP is called Rumours of a Union - hopefully we will have copies ready by showtime, but we’re still waiting on remixes to come in. You can hear one song - the trefoil remix of “dirtraces” - on our myspace page. Keep yr fingers crossed. We will definitely have them available here on the site…. when they’re ready.

Side-project alert: if you live around Chicago, keep your eyes open for performances later this month from our very own Danah Albaum - she’ll be playing more shows than you know what to do with with 2% Majesty, the I Ching Quartet, and cellmates.
